Counsellor/Psychotherapist

28 hours per week - £31,383.00 p/a pro-rata per year. 

Contract period 2 years Fixed Term  

Off Centre is seeking to recruit a counsellor/psychotherapist who has experience working with young people.  They will be responsible for providing psychotherapeutic support to young people accessing services at Off Centre.  The work involves provision of individual therapy and outreach psychoeducational group workshops.  Working hours to include clinical/team meetings on Wednesday 10.00-13.00, Saturdays from 10.00-14.00 and one evening until 20.00 the remaining hours are negotiable.

Off Centre is a well-established therapeutic and advice & information provider for young people 11-25 years who live, work or study in Hackney.

Peer Mentors wanted

We currently have vacancies for Peer Mentors to join our celebrated peer mentoring project. You will play a key role in helping young people achieve their goals in life by

• befriending and supporting young people referred to Off Centre
• being a consistent and positive role model, modelling positive behaviours such as integrity, respect, reliability and honesty
• undertaking community outreach to reach young people 
• having regard for the protection and wellbeing of all children and young people using the service

Admin & reception volunteers
