How We Help

In the main, young people coming to Off Centre present with multiple and complex issues. Some of the issues  people are typically dealing with include  bereavement, breakdown in family relationships or family neglect, abuse and violence in the home, victime of crime, bullying, sexual assault or exploitation. We have developed expertise in working with young people who have mental health and emotional problems as a result of violence, trauma, abuse, emotional distress, discrimination ordisadvantage. We recognise the impact that these experiences can have on a young person's mental health and wellbeing, now and inthe future.

At Off Centre’s core will always be the therapeutic service; however, Off Centre has long recognised that practical issues affect a person’s well being.  That is why our information and advice service works alongisde the therapeutic services, as well as linking in with other local organisations. We provide advice and information on issues such as housing, employment, education and training, benefits, and access to other services.
