Make a donation

We are a small charity that doesn’t charge young people to access our services. We do fantastic work and we’ve had some great results fundraising in the last couple of years.  But most funders only really want to fund the project work; we get very little money to invest in the running costs or overheads – which we desperately need.

Could you help? Here are 3 easy ways you can help support our work with Hackney's young people:

Community or group sponsorship

We really need financial support from the Hackney community. Can you or a group of friends or neighbours organise a sponsorship event for us, or group together to donate a lump sum? It could be any type of event and every bit helps. Here's just one example of how your money can help someone in need:

We are getting more young people turning up at Off Centre with nowhere to sleep.  Although we have funding for a caseworker to help source emergency accommodation, very often we find that the young person hasn’t had anything to eat that day, or doesn’t have enough money to get to the emergency accommodation.  £5 would help to ensure the young person gets both.

Corporate connections

Do you have a link into to any of the big corporate businesses just a hop skip and a jump away in the City or Canary Wharf?  Could you act as an ambassador for Off Centre and tell people of the great work we do?  These big organisations will usually do fundraisers for charities and it would be great if we could get Off Centre on their list of good causes.

Donate any amount you can spare

You don't have to be financially rich to help make a young person's life richer: every penny helps. Donating to Off Centre couldn’t be simpler: Just Give to Off Centre through our Just Giving page.

Just Giving is the world’s largest, most trusted and simplest way to donate or raise money for a charity.

You can:

There is no fee, the money goes straight to Off Centre and Just Giving will automatically add Gift Aid if applicable (so for every £1 given the government gives another 28p – how cool is that?).
